Doctoring is Fun!

I have been teaching medical students for 14 years. With the impending doctor shortage worldwide, and especially in America, I have rededicated myself to motivating medical students to be the best doctors they can be. Medicine is still one of the most enjoyable and respected of all professions and becoming a physician is FUN ! I will begin a continuing series of Tips to help medical school faculty learn how to better motivate students for a career in medicine and have some fun. Ken Johnson, D.O., FACOOG

Tip # 1. One of the easiest ways to improve the quality of teaching medical students is to simply show up. Woody Allen said it best. 90% of success is just showing up.
Schedule an hour grand round at the hospital in your teaching network, have it announced overhead and Have Some FUN!! More Fun Soon. Ken Johnson, D.O., FACOOG
